This was a tough one - could it be Glas Meal
OS Grid reference NO1775
? The only record for Sagina nivalis on the BSBI website for Angus (Forfar) is in 100km square NO.
I think the date is wrong too - Both Backhouses were dead by 1914. I don't think there is a date - the number is No 54.
