N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

A weed at "Rosen?hursof?" Any ideas what and where this might be? - he seemed to travel from Channel Islands to the North that summer?

Rosenhurst - name of family house in Bewdley, where I think he was Mayor.

Yes, the house was pulled down apparently - was in Park Lane - see

apparently he collected in Madagascar when younger.

An interesting chap - Haven't figured out how some of these managed to travel to the country/world for a lifetime on 19th C transport collecting while pursuing whatever their normal profession required of them - the Revs presumably had to say the odd service once in a while.... Will re-amend the Gr to less precise as Park lane stretches further than R Drive. Mike d'A
