Its not a g - the tail is the top of the letter below. The letters are partly obscured. I can't read the word below. Hayes & Bloxam don't usually give any detail about sites! This plant can grow in gardens or at least by little drains. After gazing for a while, I thought housename - Pleascumin!

That seems plausible, though as Royal Mail DB doesn't list it a later occupant must have realised it was an awful name! Thanks, amended. Mike d'A
