N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The middle line of the label seems to be 'glaical midipar' = nonsense. Any better readings?

It's "glacial...?" Confused - some sort of substrate.

This is probably a reference to categories used / defined by Watson / Baker - mid agrarian etc, there have been a number of sheets with various terms such as lacustral mid agrarian, rupestral.

Yep, agree the note probably is a description of the substrate as does seem a prevalent notation, though the second word even if an abbreviation still eludes me - I can't spot any plausible candidates in the references or elsewhere.... Thanks anyway Mike d'A

Yep That looks the best match yet. Thanks - my knowledge of obscure geological terms improves! Mike d'A
