N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

FWIW, there are several other sheets from J B Stone dated June 1843 that have been assigned to Thame.
If it is Sir J Benjamin Stone, sometime Mayor of Birmingham then he was born in 1838 - so he would have been 5 !

Chris

the 'provenance' of some of these sheets seems a bit suspect
Who was J B Stone ? does not seem to appear in Desmond's Botanists
