The date conflicts with Ley's time on Earth. I wondered if it should have been written 1909; but the handwriting and location do not fit particularly well with Ley, so could be a filing mix-up??

Do you not think this is a West collection and he started to write 19--? Idea Most of the early 20thC sheets from Sutton Park are by him - and he did collect before Ley' death (several gatherings from 1907-1909)

I did think there's something reminiscent of West in the handwriting; as well as the location as you say. I wonder if this is still such a good flora site, I noticed one of the collections is 1950's, which of course means nothing in the era of entropy.
