Probably collected by Ley, and then examined by E S G - Mrs Eliza Standerwick Gregory, who was an expert on Viola, see http://herbariaunited.org/wiki/Eliza_Standerwick_Gregory_née_BARNES.
The note is about cleistogamous flowers.
