N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The specimen was originally identified as Viola ?permiscta? Ford. While not required, I can't trace any Violas with a species name like that or attributed to Ford. in CTW, the IPNI etc. Any ideas what Beeby meant?

Thanks - indeed does begin to look like "...ixta" when squinting: - Sure enough is listed by IPNI, amongst others, and seemingly Jord. not Ford! Amended. Mike
