Such detail! I read it as - pencil label: 1st tree, beyond fence, (N E side), opposite beginning of woods, Waddenhoe avenue; (piece of timber, & broken down gate at fence); ink label: The Avenue, Wadenhoe, 1st tree to Left, just beyond fence, opposite hedge ....... illegible & incomplete? & across?? He scarily adds '40 bits'.
