N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

John Fraser (1820-1909) see http://www.hull.ac.uk/geog/herbarium/fraser.htm was a Salix man. He was only 'Johannis Fraser' when speaking ex herbario.

Jphn Fraser (1854-1935) has, on H@H, been thoroughly confused with his older namesake but is he whose name is on this sheet.

As you say, a thorough confusion. Thank you for sorting this one out. Smile
