N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The collector is not named, but intriguingly other anonymous collections from Matlock 15 yrs earlier in 1899, including this species, http://herbariaunited.org/sheets/BIRM/23187.jpg are labelled in the same handwriting. It is a script I seem to recall from some of the collections of the Birm Nat Hist & Phil Soc.

The script probably belongs to a curator of the BIRM collection (who probably also mounted the sheet) - I doubt there's any way of conclusively discovering the collector.
