See the 'det' labels of 1908, in gothic script on http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/339861/ Is it possible, with the similar script, that Harald Lindberg is also the collector, or at least writer of labels, of all those anonymous SLBI sheets such as I just now can't seem to find |

The Dublin script is hand-written but the script on the Lindberg labels is printed (except for Lindberg's own h/w which looks typically nordic).
He is known to have visited Ireland in 1932 when he ".... collected especially Taraxacum. That fairly large material has never been treated and
published." |

From the Home page, clicking on the number of completed sheets for University College Dublin (currently 2025), and sorting the results by clicking on date, brings up a large number of sheets to the top with no collector, herbarium or date. Many of these have the distinctively printed labels in the 'Harald Lindberg' style, and some have both printed and handwritten examples (eg 317364 ). Alas, when trying to 'Export report' of these UCD data, all the above sheets are excluded! |
