Why is this not L pilosa? There are no records for L, forsteri in Merioneth.

I agree this is much more likely to be L.pilosa. Specimen seems to lack the swollen leaf apex and short mucro which Poland describes for L.forsteri, though those features would be very difficult to pick up from a photograph.
