Last two word looks like " or Whitsednesdy" which it isn't.... as follows the date might be something to do with WhitSunday which in 1880 was 11 May..
Alternatively can't trace a place with a name like that or a person... Any ideas??

It's "Field, Red Bank" NY338055 (near Loughrigg Fell), Westmorland, vc 69, Whit Tuesday 1880.
