Both specimens seem to have been 'stolen' for Herefordshire by Ley. There is a Clifford's Mesne just over the border in Gloucs but it is nearer Ross and therefore Dist 2 not 3. The Cockshot Hill site (Worcs)looks more likely to be Dist 5 I have failed to find reference to either of the ?public houses

The Labour in Vain came up a few weeks ago; it's at SO703367 on the A449 on the edge of Ledbury. I don't know if it still sports its amusing but nowadays politically incorrect sign.

The Gospel Oak (a religious landmark) at Cliffords Mesne (Glos) is so close (SO697231) to the boundary with Herefordshire that it is the geographical 'tag'.
