Hi Dan,

Thanks for spotting this. I assumed at first that I'd just mis-transcribed the name from the London Catalogue, but checking, it (both 8th and 9th Edition) lists the name as Acre.

All three names Acer, Acre and Acris are used, I'm not sure which is currently accepted. The confusion comes over the gender of 'Erigeron'

http://www.mentalcode.com/latin/adjectives/view.plx?m=acer&f=acris&n=acre&g=&file=3r

and

http://www.ars-grin.gov/cgi-bin/npgs/html/taxon.pl?15506

Kent and Flora Europaea list E. acer
IPNI has acris

I've updated the entry to 'acer' currently, but I'm not certain that it shouldn't be 'acris'.
