Polygonum cognatum Meisn. - Its listed in my old (>30 year) CTW under the P. maritimum entry and notes its naturalised in a few places in the UK but origionates from Asia minor to Tibet. ...

Thank you. I've now found it in Stace. I had wondered why its default name was genus only, but now see that a photo det is impossible, so I'll trust Nicholson & Hillhouse.
