No.

The link you give is to Polygala vulgaris ssp collina coll & ex herb Rev A Ley, the collector of which has wrongly been identified as J G Baker, Ley having quoted Baker (note quotation marks) and attributed the quotation to its author, J G B[aker]. The collector of this Caltha is Ley.

I don't follow the reference to Moray, unless to distinguish between the spellings of "Beg" and "Beag". Remember that Ley's rendering of Celtic placenames was often loosely phonetic.

Many thanks - had dismally failed to spot significance of ""s - Noted re spellings - Highlands, albeit thinly, seem to be littered with Glen Begs and derivations there from... Amended. Mike d'A
