I don't know how you remember all these cross-references!
However, I think this is in Heath's handwriting (field notes, not 'posh'). There is another sheet coll Miss Bacon in the same year! http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/289927/

Thanks v much - more to the point, how did you find your specimen? My efforts involved no super-powers, I just entered the date on the 'specimens' search and struck lucky with 1 on the same date from Scotland!

I now realise that Miss G Bacon became Mrs Gertrude Foggitt of Thirsk the following year, see mesage board re:
