N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Anyone know when Gertrude Foggitt was married and so if she was available to be the Miss Bacon in Jersey in 1928, if not any other candidates?

On FreeBMD there is a marriage showing in the first quarter of 1929 for Gertrude Bacon to Thomas J Foggitt. The marriage took place in London

Quote from Watsonia
"Gertrude Bacon was my uncle’s T.J. Foggitt's second wife, they were married in February 1929; my uncle was 70 and Gertrude 56. I vividly rernember the tirne because February 1929 was the severest since 1895" The Foggitts of Thirsk http://www.watsonia.org.uk/BSBINews56.pdf
