Curious. Ley was in Breconshire on the two dates in question and there are no records on the database for anything in Breconshire approaching the place name. Neither are there any Stanhopes on the database for any year.
I think it's possibly not his gathering. though I admit it looks like it!

Thought he must have got the date wrong. He was in Alstonefield just once a year for several years between 1870 and 1895. Did he have contacts there?
