This collector has 3 h@h sheets; but I definitely read the name as A Macindoe not Macindae. Lambhill is next to Maryhill, given here as Macindoe's abode

Hardwicke's science-gossip, volume 16, 1880 has:



I think 'Macindae' was generated in the pick-list by an early upload of a Manchester sheet without an image. I have edited the collector entry.

Alexander Dunn Macindoe

Born 1857 Bonhill, Dumbartonshire
in 1871, he is recorded as living with parents and family at Main Street, Maryhill.
He married in 1886 - Ella (at Chapel en le Frith), 2 stepsons.
Medical Practitioner.
He died in 1924 (7th June) - The Old Chancel, Sidmouth.
Ella died in 1941 - aged 98.
