Just a quick note...
there's currently no way to record precise grid references given on sheets. This is an omission that I will correct, but for now please record any grid reference in the locality notes field (either old-style e.g. 34/312305 or modern OS references are fine).
Please omit any spaces or hyphens, i.e. SJ835982 rather than SJ 835982 or SJ835-982- I will try to use an automated search to find grid references, this task will be far more easy and reliable if references are written in a consistent format.
Thank you to everyone who's included grid references already. These will be assimilated and made proper use of eventually. |

Tom,
are the grid references associated with the specimen or the site? For example, is a site currently has the grid reference SL12 and I know that specimen comes from SL111222, will all the specimens previously associated with the site at SL12 now all have the grid reference SL111222? |

SL111222 would only be associated with the single specimen. |
