N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I couldnt identify collector, initials JL or IL. The only similar handwriting I could find was James Lynam, 3 collections from Western Ireland, eg http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/276309/ If one read the puzzling label (?Marple, Catholic Dingle?) as Dingle in Ireland........ Bifurcated leaves of Phyllitis seem to have been popular with collectors.

Site must be Marple in Cheshire, according to replacement label on:
http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/299374/ (another fern specimen from BON) which excludes Lynam I think as collector; but I certainly can't find anywhere with a name like Catholic Dingle.

JS/JL: in http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/286396/ I suggested the collector was JL - John Harbord Lewis; but could it be JS - J Sidebotham? There are a few of these ambiguous sheets from Marple.
