Alan Newton, on page 7 of his Flora of Cheshire, 1971 lists two possibilities under "Principal Contributors": Mrs G. Mackie, Cheadle Heath & G. Meredith, Audlem. I much prefer the former as she was probably the more prolific and certainly lived much the nearer to the site concerned.

GM is Gertrude Mackie. There are many of her sheets at MANCH.
