N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Specimen 1, Just gives M Frances I have taken this to be the collector and picked 'first choice on the list' of Marlow John Francis Sidney date agree.
Feel somewhat guilty about this sheet there appears to be three specimens, but very little detail I felt I should combine them on one sheet, but did not feel that was right either.

C O Groom did receive a specimen from G W Francis, but neither is completed in Mr Francis' own handwriting, and I could not find any other specimens to match from any Mr Francis. WW is written in the handwriting of William Wilson, who collected a number of specimens from Cheshire (which Whitear did not), including in this year. nb unfortunately none of Whitear's collections currently on H@H have his handwriting.

The collector may be George William Francis, who has one other somewhat similar specimen, http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/292259/
