N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Collectors! I think the first collector could be Henry Ecroyd Smith, but Baker does not seem to be associated with him, so I have chosen Syme, but am not really happy, Ideas?

It definitely isn't Syme, and you were right about H Ecroyd Smith, there are 2 signed specimens of his on H@H, from the previous year; the signatures are the same, though only yours has the name in full.
