N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

the latest batch of H@H specimens seems to include quite a few lacking the main clue, an ex-herb label. The best alternative clue is to enter what info there is (eg county,month/date) into 'specimens' and see what comes up. However in this case the label is by one of the prolific recognisable collectors; Langley Kitching. The features are, the numbered synopsis/ identification; handwriting; 'District' number (meaningless to me) at bottom. A check on his name & the date shows he collected other specimens in Sussex around this date.
