I've had a look at Fisher's other sheets from S Lancs and he did collect at
Linacre where John Harbord Lewis collected so many sheets referring to 'ballast' e.g. http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/270092/ - but I think that most of the Liverpool wharves would have had ballast loaded or unloaded at times with alien spp coming in with it. So I can't help, I'm afraid.
