Ley collected nearby at Penyard on the same day 25 April (St Mark's Day) 1900: see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/299420/

I suggest Knappers Well is the same place as Knackers Hole SO6221 (adjacent to Bill Mills where Ley also collected, see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/282352/ ).
Mineral water is still bottled there at Wintles pop factory (or was until quite recently) and I myself have drunk of that "clear water" [Ezekiel 34:18].
