Specimen #306726

Taxon:Rosaceae: Rosa obtusifolia Desv. ("Round-leaved Dog-rose")

*I should have thought nearer to R obtusifolia. the small piece would do very well for that one, the larger piece seems to run to larger leaflets; it is one or the other species.

N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The initials on many of these Rose identifications seem to be JWD?? Also a pencil initial D. and Ley often notes the specimen was seen by WD. Any idea who? Were all these Rose sheets gathered for one person? They unusually lack herbarium names, and many seem to have been mounted somewhat uniformly and numbered
