The CHW herbaria label dated sep 1917 has a distinct Botanical Exchange Club of BI stamp - Seems to indicate the club didn't close in 1912 as still going in 1917 if not later...

I have found the same, and in fact H S Thompson seems to have attempted a very late revival with a new version of the rubber stamp! eg from 1935, see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/264534/
