N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The label doesn't mention St Briavels, merely "woods opposite Tintern": wouldn't an embracing GR be more appropriate than putting words in the collector's mouth? Was Shoolbred being cagey? The locality of origin was probably Madgetts Wood, where it still grows.

Thanks for tip - I had wrongly thought that to get an OS ref you had to enter a (near) place name - I have now edited though. But how frustrating that for a 'non-native' species (!) H@H automatically enters cult! What about a naturalised or casual plant??
