N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Jan Bubela, 21st February 1855 in Vsetín - 17 April 1889, his herbarium included specimens from France, Germany, Austria, Hungary and other European countries. Early death was a major set-back to Moravian botany.

I've updated the Bubela entry (is Johann the correct form for his first name as there are references using both Jan and Johann?).

During his whole life the Czech Republic was part of Austria-Hungary so I think he would have used both the Czech and German forms of his name, Jan and Johann. University of Brno list of collectors from its herbarium uses Johann, presumably based on information taken from labels on sheets.
