N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Although not stated from the writing and many other specimens collected from these areas at these dates by Ley I am convinced these are his.

What is this taxon? I can find no mention of it in Stace 2 or 3 or in New Atlas.

Curious and probably misunderstanding the question.... The Plumbaginaceae entered into the International Plant Name Index site's Family name search generates some 3000+ entries including all (I think) the 24 Genera listed in Wiki, of which my CTW (1962) lists the Limonium and Armeria as native to the British Isles... both genera names still current..

I meant "What is Armeria plantaginea x maritima ?"

The answer is "A. maritima x arenaria which is endemic to W Jersey". This specimen is not that hybrid.

Sarah has corrected the ID.
