There appears to be a district of Hereford called "Whitehall" also walks from there mention "Whitehall Valley" I can find no reference to Lapley Brook, now piped,dry?
If anyone in that area knows something?

Sapey Brook.

"Whitehall" may be an error for Whitbourne

Correction: upstream of Whitbourne there is Whitehall Common at SO701582
