Well spotted. H. pulchrum is very distinctive and these specimens don't look emphatically H. pulchrum. Nevertheless West has labelled them so and it would be a very odd mistake for him to make if this were H. humifusum. Could the specimens on the left be from a damaged or sheep-grazed plant?

Stace3 doesn't mention a hybrid between H. pulchrum and H. humifusum. Is this a possibility?

Has anyone else a view?

Agree it is a possibility but I really wouldnt care to say without seeing the spec, and colour etc. H humifusum lvs are net-veined but not so H. pulchrum (Poland). The sepals are diagnostic but the ?H. humifusum seems to be without fls.
