N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Could these two be different variety's? The R/H specimens appears to be less swollen under the nodes, less sparser overall, the L/H specimen seems to be more 'bushier' and flowering more to the top of the plant? L/H mollugo R/H erectum ?

Probably changed again but isn't G. erectum as a species subsumed into /renamed G. mollugo so the latter should be the preferred name?

Re subspecies - its a bit hard to see clearly enough but all three seem to have obovate leaves and the ends cuspidate rather than linear-lanceolate mucronate so favouring mollugo,,,re the panicles - the LH one seems to be marginally narrower (More erectum) but suspect due to loss of petals... none seem to have particularly spreading branches on their panicles so favouring erectum for all 3.. From fruit size looks as though the LH one is smaller so indeed mollugo and RH erectum ..... Good luck - I'd give up at species! Sad
