- I have had no luck locating any such place-names. Cherry Tree Lodge is in the interesting-looking Whittlewood Forest, just North-west of Milton Keynes. There is a house called Cherry Tree in the unwooded area near Eydon. This specimen looks very native. UPDATE: Cherry Lap is part of Fermyn Woods SP965854, at Brigstock, where Ley collected other specimens on this date
