Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- Birch is a village south of Colchester; Berechurch on the south edge of Colchester is a site for rare cudweeds; Birchwood is near Dedham, north of Colchester. The latter seems least likely but was an extensive wood-pasture at this time. Although this name must be C J Tempere, and 'Tenyson' is a frequent mis-reading of his signature, I admit it does look like that.
