Good point (although in Suffolk the distribution is not so restricted as may be thought); I will re-check, including a hunt for Cheffins (Essex name!)

fwiw, there are a number of references to various 'Cheffins' at Easton Manor between 1830 and 1860

I now see from http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/271491/ that the collector's name is May Cheffins
