Collector gives "Poterium ptenolophum" Ford. can only find Poterium sanguisorba in database, no hairy stems, more rounded leaves can it really be Sanguisorba minor subsp. muricata?

It's Poterium stenopholum - but that doesn't really help.
Euro + Med has P stenopholum (Spach) Jord = Sanguisorba minor subsp. balearica (Nyman) Muñoz Garm. & C. Navarro which is probably the same as Poterium sanguisorba subsp balearicum - Fodder Burnet
Preferred name in Stace 3. This has the same English name as you have for S minor subsp muricata so have edited it in. (In case you are as confused as I feel)!
