Carl Hausknecht was a co-founder the Thuringian Botanical Society in 1882.
In 1896 he founded the herbarium Hausknecht. It was initially located in Weimar and is now part of the Institute of Botany of the special University of Jena. So surely as you say this specimen of 1883 must be from Jena in Thüringen.
