N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I had no luck seeking any clues to the illegible collector (Young I think rather than Gough) or place. The W Youngs on the database (one of them too 'young') collected in Scotland.

The @ (?) deflected me from that. I think Hayes & Bloxam bear comparison with some of the great duos of the past, such as Lewis and Clark, Morecamba and Wise, Laurel and Hardy, Jekyll and Hyde, Burke and Hare, Ant and Dec, Raglan and Lucan, Fanny Cradock and Johnny, Archie Andrews and Peter Bruff etc.

As a matter of curiosity / interest, is anything known about the provenance / history of these sheets? Who were Hayes / Bloxham? Desmond has several Hayes entries from a painter to a nurseryman.

There are several other Hayes/B specimens collected from Germany (unlocalised) by Mr Young.
