N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I read it as: 1 plant seen in bud with 1 seedling on scree between(?) cliff & bank(?) breaking scree in much shade Herb Stelham from Garden seed! Does this make sense - maybe specimen referred to on the label is not the one on the sheet, or maybe the note is totally additional ...??

"1 plant seen in bud with one seedling in scree below cliff. a back
breaking scree in [...?...] shade. Herb specimen from garden seed."

Yes, thank you. A combined effort brought up this. However, it seemed worth bringing a poor quality photo to Tom's attention.
I have recently read an article* which said that there were more plants of P rupestris in gardens around Craig Breiddin than on the site itself!
