N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I think it says "C of Durham" - I wondered about Teesdale but it doesn't quite seem to fit?

The label is in Wm Mudd's handwriting (not typical of his hand though - the letters are poorly formed & he writes "Mr Dixon", not the usual "G Dixon") as are most (all?) of Dixon's specimens.

The 'T' in Teesdale is untypical of Mudd; also it looks as if he had started to write "Teesside" and altered it to Teesdale (didn't this sp once grow in lower Teesdale?).
