Lochan Leacach appears to be SW of Bettyhill / Naver Rock beside the A836, but the grid ref [NC?]29689573 seems to be impossible for the county

As NC = 29 the grid ref. should be read NC689573 which is approximately right for Lochan Leacach in the location you describe.
