I think the county of Dorset is an error. There is a Pebblecome near D Little's other collections in 1948. Also in 1948 D Little collected mostly in Surrey.

This is fairly typical handwriting of D Little. If you are not convinced, have a look at the their specimen Melilotus altissima from Pebblecoombe hall from the 18/7/1948
