N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This label is in Ley's handwriting. Site is likely to be Ley's favourite spot of the old weir at Great Doward, Herefordshire; right alkalinity for this species, I believe.

Is it not just as likely to be The Old Weir Farm (note caps) ?

OS Grid reference SO443419
(Hectad records for SO44 since before 1930)

Info from David Price: 'There is much Atropa on the Little Doward on the zigzag path down to the river'.

I am sure that is so. It doesn't preclude the specimen in question being from the Old Weir in SO44. I think it should be left as ambiguous unless and until more specimens from Dr Moore turn up.
