N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

the date seems to have an element in roman numerals. This was my first sheet!

You have got the right date, 25/4 (iv)/1931; the collector (leg.) is P M Hall, and the precise site is Stonesfield Quarries. VC 23 is the Vice-county Oxfordshire (abbreviated Oxon) - not Shropshire - and Oxon Hall isn't right; the Herbarium is R B Ullman. You can make amendments by clicking on 'edit this sheet'.
Keep going - at least the South London sheets mostly have good handwriting!
